Feierförde

The Feierförde is a carrier pontoon for the coastal protection and inland area. The deck is covered extensively with wooden excavator/crane mats and is provided with side guards and overrun protection, so that work units can freely move on deck. Work units with a weight of up to 150 t can be used on the pontoon.
The Feierförde can be moved to the work locations by a pusher barge or a tug. When being kept in position by means of 2 hydraulic anchor piles, further work can be carried out in the same position without a pusher barge or tug.
